Stanwood came out comfortably on top in this precise passing battle between two of the top five teams in the Shoreline 7 on 7 series. Their quarterback, Karl Deboer, completed 18 of his 20 passes for 180 yards, 4 touchdowns and 1 interception. Caden Lynn appeared to be his favorite receiver, catching eight passes for 78 yards and one touchdowns. In addition, he had an interception. Nate Kummer also had a memorable performance on both offense and defense with five receptions totaling 58 yards and one interception. Tryg Deboer was a key piece of the Spartans offense. He caught three passes for 30 yards, but all of his catches were for touchdowns. He also had an interception. Tyler Rich had two receptions for 24 yards. Jessie Suko had one reception for 17 yards. An all-around performance delivered Stanwood with the victory.
On the other side, the Snohomish quarterback completed 9 of his 14 pass attempts for 106 yards. Three of his five incompletions were interceptions. He threw two touchdowns in the game. Keegan Stich was the standout performer this team with three receptions for 31 yards and an interception. Ethan Judy had just one catch but it was a 24-yard touchdown to give the Panthers the early lead. Tristin Harmston caught two balls for 23 yards. While Snohomish played well on offense early, they simply couldn’t keep up with the high-powered offense of the Stanwood Spartans in this outing.
