Meadowdale narrowly defeated Cascade in this game between the teams with the best and worst records in the league. Their main quarterback, #5, threw 10 passes and completed six for 105 yards and two touchdowns. The Mavericks’ other QB had a great deal of success with long passes, but could only make it into the end zone once, which kept this game close. He completed five of his nine passes for 77 yards. #25 was the star receiver for Meadowdale, catching three passes for 53 yards.
Cascade rushed out to a 14-0 lead with two quick drives down the field. At that point, this game looked to have the making of a major upset. The quarterback completed 11 of his 20 passes for 113 yards. CJ Wade appeared to be his favorite receiver. He caught four passes for 31 yards and the team’s second touchdown. Cascade’s dynamic offense allowed them to create opportunities. Six different receivers caught passes in this game. Junior Duc caught two passes for 37 yards. Sean Sibley had just one catch but it was a 12-yard TD to give the Bruins an early 7-0 lead. Max Nelson caught one pass for 10 yards. Wasin Alissa had one reception during the second touchdown drive for eight yards. Caymyn Colemen caught one pass for five yards. Finally, #53 had one late game catch for five yards.
