In this back-and-forth, high-scoring affair, a last-minute score gave Edmonds Woodway the victory over Cascade. The Warriors’ quarterback completed 11 of his 18 passes for 205 yards, one of the highest marks in the league. #3 played very well in this game, catching four passes for 96 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception. #11 had just one reception, but it was a 20-yard TD to put the Warriors on the scoreboard early. #17 started off the team’s second drive strong with his only catch for 18 yards. #5 caught one pass for nine yards. Finally, #18 made the biggest play of the game, a 40-yard touchdown to give Edmonds Woodway the victory in the final minutes.
Cascade once again performed valiantly but couldn’t come out with the victory. Their quarterback was a bright spot, completing 15 of his 20 attempts for 160 yards, three touchdowns, and just one interception. Junior Duc had four receptions for 61 yards and the team’s final touchdown. Jacob Bauer had three catches for 13 yards including a one-yard TD reception to tie the game early on. CJ Wade caught three passes for 19 yards. #53 had two receptions for 8 yards, one of which was a touchdown. Sean Sibley had one catch for 40 yards, which was a touchdown to give the Panthers their only lead.
