Stanwood came out on top of this nailbiter in which the teams traded touchdowns until the waning moments. Stanwood’s quarterback Karl Deboer went 13 of 18 for 140 yards and three touchdowns.Tyler Rich got the Spartans scoring started with a 31-yard touchdown reception, his only catch on the game. Nate Kummer was the star performer for this team. He caught six passes for 70 yards and two TDs. Tryg Deboer also had a standout performance with five receptions for 30 yards. Finally, Bill Wanabisi caught one pass for 9 yards.
Glacier Peak played well offensively, but their inability to convert a late two-point play cost them the game. Their quarterback went 12 of 18 for 145 yards. Unlike Stanwood, Glacier Peak spread the wealth a bit more on offense. Seven different wide receivers caught passes. Evan M caught three passes, each of which was a touchdown, for 49 yards. Connor Stroup caught three balls for 42 yards. Bo Burns received two passes for 24 yards. Juhno Lindsay, #15, #20, and John Paul Anderson each caught one pass for 4, 4, 7, 10, respectively. Anderson also caught the Grizzlies sole two point conversion.
